Michael Cretu has been recording under the name Enigma for more than ten years. Beginning with the stunning success of "Sadeness," the international hit single from 1991's debut effort, MCMXC A.D., Enigma introduced listeners to a fusion of old world Gregorian chants and futuristic electronic sounds. The post modern/ new age vibe caught on fast and took hold in dance clubs around the world.
